Dear Families,
Student-Led Conferences will be happening at Kitchener on Thursday, April 9th from 2:15pm – 6:00pm. There will be an early dismissal for students at 2:00pm. The conferences will be an opportunity to recognize that learning is a journey and to celebrate strengths and growth over time with your child. It is a critical part of the learning process that empowers them to be actively engaged, accept personal responsibility, and show pride in their learning by sharing samples of classroom activities and their work. Student voice continues to be an important part of their learning experience at school.
Student-Led Conferences provide another meaningful opportunity for children to develop core competencies such as effective communication with intent and purpose, critical and reflective thinking, personal awareness (as they value themselves, their ideas, and accomplishments), and a positive personal identity as they acknowledge their strengths and abilities.

To book a designated time in your child(ren)’s class, please make sure to click the link with
your child’s teacher. The booking system will be open until midnight, Wednesday, April
8th. Appointments after this date must be booked directly with the teacher. Please take
advantage of the online booking system to request a 20-minute time slot.
If you are unable to attend, please follow up with your child(ren)’s classroom teacher.
