Sept 25 to 29 Update

Good afternoon families. We hope you have had a good week with our weather changes. Please remember we are now moving into our Fall weather. Your children should remember to bring coats, umbrellas, and appropriate footwear. At Kitchener, we believe in movement and outside activities for all students. Students will be outside for recess and lunch unless we have special weather advisories. Click here to learn more.

On Thursday morning,  we had a wonderful and reflective assembly for Orange Shirt Day. Thank Mr. Kenney for the leadership and to staff and students for their participation.

It was brought to my attention traffic issues on the lower parking lot side street. This is very concerning to our school community.

PLEASE FOLLOW TRAFFIC REGULATIONS INCLUDING SIGNAGE AND CONES. Mr. Hunter and I will be monitoring the area in the coming weeks. Thank you for doing what you can to keep students safe coming to and from the school.

Our cross country second meet was very successful. Well done, Hawks!

Our first Individual Photo day is on Wednesday, October 4th. Students will have their pictures taken either inside or outside depending on the weather.

Our first Coffee Conversation is on Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the staffroom. We look forward to seeing some of you there. Thank you to Nur for assisting with our coffee donation from Starbucks.

Our P.A.C. fundraisers continue. Please click here to learn more. Last day to order apples is October 7!

Thank you for supporting our programs and all of our students.

Have a restful weekend and Truth and Reconciliation Day. We look forward to seeing all of your children on Tuesday morning.

Sincerely,

Mr. D. Klarich
