Halloween

Hello Kitchener Families,

Halloween is around the corner. As mentioned by school district and provincial health authorities we won’t have a “normal” Halloween unfortunately  once again. Having said that, students will be permitted to wear appropriate costumes to the school on Friday,  October 29th. Please remember that any costume or make up that can frighten or harm our younger students should be avoided for this day. Students may wear their costume safely to the school. Please remember it is very dark in the morning and all safety measures should be taken to ensure your child arrives safely to and from the school. As well, students may bring pre-packaged treats to the school to share with classmates if they wish, but nothing homemade.  Classroom teachers will help supervise their students in the classroom around safety protocols. Activities will be done throughout the day but due to safety protocols we will not have an assembly at the school but will be having a Costume Parade outside following all safety protocols. Happy Halloween!
